Three specially commissioned BNSF Railway locomotives, wrapped in patriotic red, white, and blue liveries and bearing the commemorative numbers 250, 1776, and 2026, welcomed guests in recognition of America’s upcoming 250th anniversary. More than a striking visual, the locomotives represented the innovation, expansion, and infrastructure that have shaped the nation’s history for generations.
From there, the event transitioned into a carefully choreographed presidential motorcade escorted by the historic Rough Riders volunteer cavalry regiment. The horseback escort paid tribute to Theodore Roosevelt’s legendary military service while creating an unforgettable visual connection between America’s past and present.
