Job Description

ESI is a full-service event production company based in Alexandria, VA. We are seeking experienced Event Producers to be the primary lead for the planning and execution of high-profile live events, conferences, tours, and special projects nationwide. Event Producers serve as the central point of coordination between clients, vendors, and internal departments, ensuring that every element of the event is delivered on time, on brand, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives under pressure, has a strong grasp of live event logistics, and can lead cross-functional teams from concept to completion. This position requires exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as an understanding of creative and technical event components.

Compensation

Salary pay that is negotiable based on skill level and experience. Travel per diem and accommodations provided.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of event production, from planning through on-site execution and post-show wrap-up
  • Manage the onsite team (ranging from 5-100 people) leading the execution of the event
  • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and production schedules
  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee production logistics including staging, audio/visual, signage, creative builds, and run of show
  • Collaborate with design, operations, and technical teams to ensure alignment with client objectives
  • Conduct site visits, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate permitting or venue logistics as needed
  • Supervise setup, live execution, and strike of all event elements
  • Troubleshoot operational or technical challenges quickly and effectively
  • Prepare post-event reports and budget reconciliations for internal review
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

Compensation

Hourly/Day-Rate pay that is negotiable based on skill level and experience. Monthly retainers are also a potential offer that may be made.

Responsibilities
  • Design branding and visual identity for events, including logos, style guides, and print collateral
  • Create on-site graphics such as signage, stage backdrops, directional materials, and badges
  • Develop digital assets for website use, social media, and video presentations
  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to align designs with creative briefs and event themes
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment

Job Description

ESI is seeking to hire organized and highly motivated Operations Managers full-time to support the administrative operations and logistics behind nationwide and global event productions. Operations Managers play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operational needs of both ESI and client events. Operations Managers will work closely with ESI project managers, technicians, labor, vendors, and clients to ensure that all logistical aspects of the events are seamless and executed efficiently. Events will include conferences, trade shows, concerts, outdoor and indoor political speaking events, traveling shows, and more.

Compensation

Salary pay that is negotiable based on skill level and experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision. Simple IRA with company match offered as well.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Operations and Project Managers in both the daily operation of the company and the execution of events by creating production schedules, budgets, trip summaries, tracking expenses, and assisting in vendor sourcing
  • Create and manage transportation logistics for both equipment and personnel to and from event sites. This includes sourcing hotel room blocks, managing flights and rental cars
  • Assist with managing event timelines and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Responsible for the upkeep of collaborative documents and administrative materials for all ESI projects
  • Responsible for conducting venue research, vendor sourcing, and vendor research projects
  • Responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the ESI headquarters
  • Occasionally provide on-site support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that may arise
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of operations experience in event production or logistics is a plus but not required. Entry level experience is acceptable for this position.
  • Must be able to be trusted with confidential information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with vendors, clients, and internal teams
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
